This page showcases my involvement at Clemson and at home during my time in college. I found many ways to enhance my college experience by getting involved with different organizations and volunteering in my home community. My experiences have been extremely rewarding, and I have learned so much about myself and others. I have developed skills such as leadership and communication through my positions on the executive board of my sorority and my time working with a non-profit organization at home.
Delta Gamma Sorority
I have been a member of Delta Gamma since the fall of 2021. Delta Gamma was established at Clemson in 2021, and I am a part of the founding member class. I served as the director of inter-fraternal activities as well as the Vice President of Panhellenic. I was the director of inter-fraternal activities for a short time because I was promoted to the VP position during the term. As the VP of Panhellenic, I served as a delegate to all other sororities on campus as well as other organizations in and out of Greek life. I established and maintained positive connections and relationships with other organizations here on campus. I also got us involved in our first Homecoming float build, a big tradition here at Clemson. Overall, I have absolutely loved my time being a part of Delta Gamma, and it helped give me the college experience I was hoping for.
LifeFlight of Maine
LifeFlight of Maine is a non-profit organization that provides air medical services for patients in need of urgent medical help in the state. LifeFlight saved my life after a plane accident in 2008, and since then, I have volunteered numerous times with them to do my best to give back. I also create a fundraiser each year for my birthday to donate to LifeFlight instead of receiving gifts. I have volunteered at a lot of their events, including the 5k swim they do each summer. This fall, I was asked to be part of an article to celebrate their 25th year as an organization. It is for reasons like this that I continue to give back and enjoy volunteering with them whenever I can.
